Membership of The PCA is to help you improve the results of your copywriting business.  As part of an ethical statement, we cannot guarantee you will get results or earn any money from membership, ideas, information, techniques or strategies. To get anywhere in business (or life) you have to “work it!” We promise we will always provide you with excellent content, guidance, and techniques to help you gain the edge in your business.

Membership does not mean The PCA approves or endorses any copywriter and in no way presupposes we sanction  or are in partnership of any kind. We take it on good faith that the copywriter acts in the most professional way possible and adheres to The PCA code of ethics.

Membership Payments (where applicable):

You must ensure you have adequate funds in your PayPal account to cover the yearly membership (applies to full membership only). If your payment fails for any reason your access will be restricted, until we can ascertain the reason. If you cancel your payment after the first year, your membership and access will be terminated. In the event of cancellation (cancelling payment) you must cease to continue using any resources provided by The PCA and remove the membership logo from all marketing platforms either online or offline with immediate effect.  Membership payments are non refundable.

Payments are taken automatically by the payment method used upon joining (normally PayPal or card over the phone). No prior notification is sent before renewal is due. If you wish to cancel renewal it is YOUR responsibility to do so before the renewal date (not less than 30 days before existing membership is renewable), either through your PayPal account or if paying by card by contacting us. Once membership is renewed through either payment method stated above, we shall take this as your consent to the renewal terms and therefore no refunds are available. Within 3-5 working day (or sooner if possible) your access to the members area will be reactivated. Any other questions, please contact us>>

Membership List:

You must sign up to our mailing list (email) as a member and membership (to any level) is only valid provided you remain on our mailing list. If you unsubscribe your membership will automatically be cancelled. It is your responsibility to notify The PCA of any changes to your email address.

Indemnity:

The User agrees to indemnify, keep indemnified, defend and hold the Siteowner and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, owners, agents, information providers and licensors, (collectively the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liability, losses, costs and expenses (including legal fees) (whether or not foreseeable or avoidable) incurred or suffered by any Indemnified Party and any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened arising from the User’s use of, connection with or conduct on the Site or any breach by the User of these terms.

The Siteowner reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by the User, and in such case, the User agrees to co-operate with the defence of such claim. Consequences of Breach of these Terms In the event that the Siteowner considers or determines, in their complete discretion, that the User has breached, violated or contravened the Agreement or has otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct in the use of the Site or the content or services they reserve the absolute right to: (a) warn the User that they have violated the Agreement and ask the User to discontinue such conduct; (b) discontinue the User’s access of the site and/or any other related services; (c) take measures (including terminating, suspending or restricting the User’s use of the Site) to prevent the User from using the Site or linking to the Site.

Third Parties:

The provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to this Agreement. Proper Law and Jurisdiction This Agreement and all matters arising from it shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the [exclusive] jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Entire Agreement:

This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements, arrangements and undertakings and constitutes the entire agreement relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. The User confirms that they have not entered into this Agreement on the basis of any representation that is not expressly incorporated into this Agreement.
